ASSYRIA
Assyria is a cultural and civic initiative focused on preserving Assyrian history, identity, and collective memory through peaceful, lawful, and responsible engagement.
What Is Assyria?
Assyria currently functions as a non-political cultural project. It is not a state, government, or political movement, and it does not assert territorial authority.
Long-Term Vision
The long-term vision of Assyria is the peaceful establishment of a recognized homeland grounded in historical continuity and cultural identity. Any such possibility, if ever realized, would relate to regions within modern-day Iraq historically associated with Assyrian civilization, and could only occur through lawful dialogue, mutual consent, and full respect for international law and existing states.
Historical Foundation
Assyrian civilization is among the world’s oldest continuous cultures, originating in ancient Mesopotamia and preserved through language, tradition, and collective memory.
Leadership
Assyria was founded by an individual who serves as its President, operating through the Office of the President to ensure continuity and responsibility.
